This job fair is targeted at job seekers seeking new opportunities in engineering, information technology, management, human resources, sales, and other technical and non-technical professions.

Virtual Job Fair for Veterans – Feb. 23

On February 23, 2012, Milicruit in partnership with the Department of Defense, will host a nationwide virtual career fair open to service members, guard/reservists, veterans, and military spouses. There are over 34,000 jobs available, and the Milicruit service will allow the job seeker to meet and interact with employers from all over the country, but from the comfort and convenience of their home or office.

On the 23rd, all the employers will be online in their virtual booths and available to chat with the job seekers in real-time, but we strongly encourage veterans register and login ahead of time to research the employers, view/apply for jobs. MCC & the State Energy Sector Partnership Grant

The State Energy Sector Partnership (SESP) Grant is offering a special section of the Macomb Community College Advanced Energy Storage program to be taught out of Schoolcraft College from Feb 21st – April 12th, on Tues and Thurs from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. This should make this offering more accessible to people on the west side of the region.

In addition to the MCC program, there may be a few openings at WSU, MTU, and HFCC for the Spring semester for people who can complete their certificate by the end of 2012.
