Michigan Talent Bank (MTB)
The Michigan Talent Bank (MTB) is an electronic resume bank that allows job seekers to enter their resumes into a database and search job postings via the Internet free of charge.
__
All users of the Center are required to register in the Michigan Talent Bank.
__
Employers can register, post openings and search the MTB for qualified job candidates. We encourage job seekers to update their MTB resume at least every 30 days so employers can find their information, review qualifications and contact them, if they are interested. Click on the “Quick Update” button to quickly update your resume for employer activity. The “Quick Update” button is on the right side of the screen on the “My Account” page.
__
Introduction to the Michigan Talent Bank shows how to use the system to your advantage and create a Word document resume to use with your job search.

For further assistance using the Talent Bank, use the Michigan Talent Bank Job Seeker Help Sheet
__
A Michigan Talent Bank resume is only useful for applying for jobs on the Michigan Talent Bank, so we recommend creating a Word document resume for emailing or for applying for positions on other websites.

The electronic handout: Example of Yahoo Email Instructions describes how to access, view, and send emails with attachments.
