Reemployment Services
Reemployment Services (Profiling) provides for the early identification of those Unemployment Insurance claimants considered most likely to have an extended duration of unemployment or to exhaust their benefits before finding a job. Early intervention can help claimants find suitable employment before their unemployment insurance benefits are exhausted. Profiling focuses on claimants who will receive an unemployment insurance check within five weeks of filing. Claimants are identified by the Unemployment Insurance Agency.

Individuals selected for Reemployment Services (Profiling) will receive a notification letter from Troy Michigan Works! and the Unemployment Insurance Agency. This notification letter includes a date, time, and location for a MANDATORY profiling session. If at any time a claimant, whose participation has been designated as mandatory by the UIA, fails to report for scheduled services, this is reported to UIA and may result in the loss of some benefits.
__
If you have been selected for Reemployment Services (Profiling) and cannot attend your scheduled day and time, please contact Ivory Bennett at 1-313-456-2304.
__
At the information session, Michigan Works staff will assist claimants in creating their Individual Service Strategies (ISS) and see if they can benefit from available Michigan Works! services. Please bring your Michigan Talent Bank resume to the Profiling session.
