Training/Tuition Assistance
Short-term On-the-Job (OJT) and vocational classroom training funded by the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) is designed to provide dislocated workers, unemployed, and underemployed adults with career training and skill upgrades.  Our Career Assistance Program provides an opportunity to work with a Career Advisor for individualized career planning/guidance, including resume review, job search support, exploring training opportunities, and interview preparation. Note: Training programs must be completed in 12 months or less. 

Registration is completed via email - once processed/approved; you will be able to schedule the first appointment with you Career Advisor/Planner either in-person or virtually! Click here to register.

Job Corps
Job Corps is seeking new applicants for immediate openings and restore its 125 centers nationwide to full capacity. A U.S. Department of Labor program, Job Corps provides eligible students with academic and career technical training, room and board, counseling and mentoring services, and basic medical care. Young people ages 16 through 24 who meet low-income requirements can enroll in the program at no cost to them by calling 1-800-733-JOBS (5627) or visit Job Corps' website.



Michigan Training Connect
The Michigan Training Connect is the State’s official training provider list for individuals qualifying for an Individual Training Account (ITA) under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).  This website allows you to explore career options, set educational goals, and find the training you need to achieve your goals.



eLearning Soft Skills Program
The eLearning Soft Skills Program is 14 eLearning modules on Lifelong Soft Skills are to provide a universally accessible soft skills training resource for the Michigan workforce for basic and foundational skills for the workplace, to help ensure the workforce is ready to succeed in the 21st century. The goal of this Lifelong Soft Skills eLearning series is to raise awareness among students and employees about key skills needed for workplace success. It encourages and suggests attributes that employers are looking for, and is not intended to address employer practices or labor management relations.



Microsoft Office Training (LearnKey Online)
LearnKey is a premier global provider of self-paced training solutions for corporate, education, government and personal users. For over two decades, their mission has been to create flexible expert learning solutions - solutions that work for everyone because they are not only easy to use, but they are extremely engaging and interactive. LearnKey brings the classroom experience to you - where and when you need it.

Individuals must register in person at our Center to utilize this Microsoft Office Training for one year from any computer with an internet connection.
